President Shri Pranab Mukherjee’s message on the eve of Independence Day of Guinea-Bissau

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau on the eve of their Independence Day (September 24, 2016).
In a message to His Excellency Mr. José Mário Vaz, the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and felicitations to you, to the Government and the people of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau on the occasion of your Independence Day.
I am confident that warm and friendly bilateral relations between our two countries will be further strengthened in the years ahead to the mutual benefit of the peoples of our countries.


Please accept, Excellency, my good wishes for your personal health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau”.
